The experts of the CASPIA Analytical Center held a meeting with London-based Azerbaijani political analyst and expert Abdul Nagiyev.

The guest was welcomed by the Director of the CASPIA Analytical Center, Orkhan Yolchuyev, who provided a detailed overview of the Center’s activities, ongoing research projects, and key areas of analytical work. Particular attention was given to the Center’s research on international relations, regional security, transport and logistics processes, and the development of young researchers and interns.

During the meeting, the parties exchanged views on the latest regional dynamics in the South Caucasus and the broader Eurasian space. Special attention was paid to the current state and future prospects of Azerbaijan–United Kingdom relations, as well as opportunities for expanding bilateral cooperation in the political, economic, and expert-analytical spheres.

The participants also discussed the growing strategic importance of the Middle Corridor amid the ongoing transformation of global trade and transportation routes. The discussion focused on the future development of the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route, its role in strengthening connectivity between Europe and Asia, and the challenges facing regional states in building resilient and sustainable logistics networks.

In addition, the parties addressed various aspects of the United Kingdom’s foreign and domestic policies in the post-Brexit period. The discussion explored shifts in London's foreign policy priorities, its engagement strategy toward Eurasia, and the domestic political and socio-economic developments shaping contemporary British policymaking.

At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides emphasized the importance of maintaining expert dialogue and exchanging analytical perspectives on regional and international issues.
