Orkhan Yolchuyev, Director and Co-Founder of the CASPIA Analytical Center, took part in a panel discussion at the TransLogistica Kazakhstan 2026 international forum in Astana, dedicated to the development of transport and logistics infrastructure and international corridors.

In his remarks, Yolchuyev focused on the significance of the Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity (TRIPP) and its potential role in shaping new transport links between regions.

According to him, the importance of TRIPP extends beyond restoring transport connections between individual parts of the South Caucasus. If implemented, the project could become an additional link connecting Central Asia, the Caspian region, the South Caucasus, Türkiye and the broader Middle Eastern space.

Yolchuyev noted that TRIPP should be viewed not as an alternative to existing routes, but as an additional element of the emerging network-based transport architecture of Eurasia. New transport links could provide freight operators with greater route flexibility, strengthen the resilience of supply chains and improve the connectivity of the Middle Corridor with neighbouring transport systems.

Particular attention was also paid to Azerbaijan’s growing role as a connecting link between Central Asia and western markets. As freight flows from China and Central Asian countries continue to expand, route diversification is becoming an increasingly important factor in the competitiveness and resilience of Eurasian logistics.

As part of TransLogistica Kazakhstan, Orkhan Yolchuyev also moderated one of the panel sessions, bringing together representatives of the transport and logistics sector and the expert community to discuss the prospects of international corridors, infrastructure constraints and the further development of multimodal transportation.

TransLogistica Kazakhstan 2026 brought together representatives of government institutions, international organisations, transport and logistics companies, and the expert community. The business programme focused on the development of international transport corridors, multimodal transportation, infrastructure projects and emerging logistics solutions.
