A collection of books on the history, culture and socio-political heritage of Azerbaijan has been donated to the National Academic Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The initiative was launched by the CASPIA Analytical Center with the participation of the Kazakh company TransConsulting, according to Orkhan Yolchuyev, Director and Co-Founder of CASPIA.

According to Yolchuyev, the initiative is aimed at strengthening humanitarian ties between Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan, expanding mutual knowledge of the two countries’ history and culture, and promoting greater public trust and cooperation.

The donated publications include books on Azerbaijan’s victory in the Karabakh war, the Azerbaijani model of multiculturalism, and the history of Caucasian Albania.

Yolchuyev also highlighted the importance of further academic research into the historical legacy of the Kipchaks in the South Caucasus. In his view, the donated literature may serve as an additional resource for researchers and contribute to further scholarly discussion in this field.

All of the donated books will be displayed in the Azerbaijani Literature Corner, which opened at Kazakhstan’s National Academic Library in September 2024.

CASPIA views such initiatives as an important instrument for strengthening humanitarian cooperation between Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan alongside academic, expert and public engagement.
