Azerbaijan’s trade turnover with member states of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) increased by more than 5% in 2025, reaching $7.3 billion, Prime Minister of Azerbaijan Ali Asadov said at a meeting of heads of government and vice presidents of OTS member states.
According to him, Azerbaijan’s total investments in OTS countries have reached $21 billion. He emphasized the strategic importance of further expanding trade and investment cooperation among member states.
The Prime Minister highlighted the role of joint investment funds established with partner countries in supporting mutual investments in priority sectors and strengthening economic ties.
He noted that the current cooperation potential significantly exceeds existing figures. Further growth in trade turnover, promotion of investment projects, deeper industrial cooperation, and expanded collaboration in agriculture, the digital economy, SMEs, innovation, and high technologies will help unlock the full economic potential of OTS member states.
