Georgia has recorded the highest export figures in its history, with the country's overseas shipments reaching unprecedented levels, according to the Ministry of Economy.

The ministry reported that Georgian exports totaled $668 million in May 2026, marking the highest monthly export figure ever registered by the country.

The strong performance was also reflected in cumulative figures for the year. Deputy Economy Minister Vakhtang Tsintsadze stated that exports reached $3.1 billion during the first five months of 2026, setting another historical record.

"The record external trade figures confirm that Georgian products are competitive not only in the domestic market but also internationally," Tsintsadze said.

He added that the Georgian government remains committed to supporting domestic producers and strengthening the country's export capacity.
